Adeleke Reveals Why He Was Underrated After Being Sworn-in As Osun Governor

Adeleke said he was underrated because of his dancing skills, The Nation reported.
He stated this while speaking during the unveiling of N100 billion infrastructural projects on Friday, October 27.

The governor said that he has, however, surprised critics with his performance since assuming office.
According to Adeleke, the last 11 months have been used to address the over 90 per cent infrastructure deficit his administration inherited.
He disclosed that 345 health centres will be rehabilitated and 332 boreholes will be constructed.
Adeleke added that 45 roads of at least one kilometre in each of the 30 mother local governments, making a total of 45 Kilometers will be rehabilitated, dualisation of roads in Osogbo, Ede and Ilesha.
“We are going to construct five Flyovers to ease traffic accidents and traffic jams. In Osogbo(2), one in Ikirun, one in Ife and one in Owode-Ede among other projects,”
“All these projects shall be completed within 12 months by the grace of God. It is therefore my honour and privilege to flag off the multi-billion Naira Infrastructure Development of Osun.”
Governor Adeleke Dances With Davido to Singer’s “Feel” Song
Videos emerged showing Nigerian singer, Davido, in good spirits with Governor Adeleke.
The clips which surfaced on the internet on Monday, October 23, showed Davido and Adeleke dancing to the former’s hit song, “Feel”. The cinematic visuals for ‘Feel’ were only released three weeks ago.
The meeting between both men occurred recently at the Lagos residence of media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Adeleke hosted two Super Falcons players, Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran, who are both Osun state indigenes, after their brilliant performance at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
He danced to songs and drumming performed in the Yoruba culture with the two Super Falcons players during the ceremony at his home in Ede.

Osun governor Adeleke suspends appointees’ foreign trips
Adeleke suspended foreign trips for top government officials of his administration for the rest of the year, except for emergencies.
The governor instructed that the state’s expenditure should henceforth be focused on implementing critical projects across the sectors.
He gave the directive on Monday, October 23, when he hosted the State Executive Council meeting with a key focus on treasury board decisions as they affect preparation for budget 2024 and landmark pronouncements on state governance.
