Madonna Underwent Procedures To Restore Her Natural Looks After Receiving Criticism At The Grammys.
The So-Called Queen Of Pop Is Reportedly Doing Everything She Can To ‘Look More Like Her Old Self’ Ahead Of Her Sold-Out Global Tour As The Backlash Over Her Changing Appearance Does Affect Her.
Madonna is apparently not so immune to criticism. Despite her brazen front in the wake of the backlash over her youthful appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards, the so-called Queen of Pop is reportedly deeply “affected” by the harsh comments.
“Despite what people think, the criticism over her drastically different appearance does affect her,” a source tells Daily Mail, adding that Madge is currently undergoing procedures that will restore her natural looks.
The 64-year-old singer/actress is said to be desperate to return to her natural face ahead of her sold-out world tour. “She sees and hears what people say about her and, for the tour, she wants to look more like herself again for her fans,” the so-called insider dishes.
But Madonna is set to receive support from her loved ones during the tour. She’s reportedly planning to enlist her children, Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David, 17, Mercy 17, and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere, in her shows. The source claims, “She will be bringing them along on tour and will include them in the show.”
The “Like a Virgin” hitmaker is said to be going all out for the upcoming tour because she knows it may be her last. “Madonna is really turning it out. She is in incredible shape and is going to kill it with this tour,” the insider explains. “It may be her last tour, so she wants to make it perfect. She is incredible shape and her body is sick.”
Gushing about the highly-anticipated shows, the source adds, “This is her labor of love. Her perfectionism is driving everyone up the wall but she does not care. The crew is working their a** off because everyone wants to make her happy.”
The Grammy Award winner, who is not hesitant to fire “someone at the drop of a hat,” reportedly chose to work with “a fresh crew this time around.” The insider says, “Madonna likes creative people who can take direction. She is usually not one to take suggestions and knows what she wants.”
Madonna came under fire after showing off her youthful looks at the Grammys in February. Following the backlash, she clapped back as writing on Instagram, “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in. A world that refuses to celebrate women pass the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.”
She then stressed that she has “never apologized” for her appearance, and she’s “not going to start,” before referencing Beyonce Knowles’ “Renaissance” hit, “Break My Soul”. She added, “I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come,” before concluding, “Bow down b***hes!”
