Big Trouble Awaits Atiku As Wike Reveals When He Will Announced His Preferred Presidential Candidate

Obio-Akpor, Rivers – Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has promised to announce his preferred presidential candidate for the 2023 election in January.

According to Channels Television, the governor disclosed this on Thursday, December 22, adding that he will move from state to state to campaign for his adopted candidate next year.

The governor said:

“From January next year, I will campaign to my people whom they will vote for”

The governor said this while commissioning the 10th flyover that his administration has started and completed in the Obio-Akpor local government area of the state.

He then said those who have been in suspense, saying all kinds of things about him should wait for him till January.

Wike said he will not only tell his preferred presidential candidate to Nigerians but he will embark on a nationwide campaign for him.

Recall that Governor Wike has been at loggerheads with Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP since he lost the party’s presidential primary in May.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has redefined what should be tagged as vote buying ahead of the 2023 election.

Wike said the projects he has been commissioning in the state are the real vote buying and not just giving money to some people.

The governor made the assertion while sending a veiled message to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP.
