Darius Jackson and Keke Palmer’s relationship appears to have soured as a result of his criticism of her attire. He reprimanded her for wearing a provocative attire, and they have since stopped following each other on social media. They have one child together.
After receiving criticism for his remarks on Keke’s attire, Darius stopped following the actress on Instagram, according to several news sources. Also, he is absent from the “Nope” star’s platform following list.
Also, Darius briefly shut off his Twitter account, but he later activated it again.
After embarrassing Keke for wearing a gorgeous dress to Usher’s Las Vegas residency event, Darius found himself in hot water. Responding Darius Jackson and Keke Palmer unfollow each other on Instagram after he outfit-shamed her.
He later doubled down on his comment in a follow-up tweet which read, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others.”
The writer added, “[And] he gets told how much of a hater he is.” Justifying his criticism, he stated, “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe.” He finally concluded, “I rest my case.”
Seemingly unapologetic for wearing the see-through dress, Keke posted pictures of her donning the black ensemble on Instagram. “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!” she wrote in the caption.
The 29-year-old went on singing praise for Usher, “I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!!” She added, “Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some a** in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself?? @noraradd.”
Usher commented on Keke’s post by writing, “The Big Boss!! Thank U for coming.”
